Thank you, Tim, for the suggestion 🙏 We are certainly open to integrating support for additional hardware wallets, though we would need to see significant demand for it before committing the resources needed to integrate a new type of hardware wallet.
As such, I'll keep this thread open so other users of D'Cent can upvote and comment to show their support. If it becomes clear that D'Cent wallet would become widely used if we integrated it, then we'll explore the idea more thoroughly.
Again, thank you ever so much for your feedback 🙏
@nufi_admin thanks for the response, interesting, was the same requirement you mentioned as the deciding factor in choosing Ledger Nano?
@tim2min We integrated Ledger Nano support because -- from what statistics and feedback tells us -- it's the most commonly used HW wallet for the blockchains we support but, more importantly, the Ledger Nano supports all essential functionality: staking, sending Cardano tokens inc. NFTs, smart contract support and so on.
This isn't true of all hardware wallets; after some preliminary research into D'Cent, an older article suggested that -- while it's possible to store $ADA -- some of the above functionality wasn't yet enabled. This may have changed in the past year (since the article was written), but it's a similar story with BitBox02; when they launched, it was possible to store $ADA and Cardano tokens, but the tokens couldn't be sent after they'd been received. Again, this functionality is introduced over time, but the question of 'does it support the functionality offered on NuFi?' is something that we consider carefully when integrating a new hardware wallet.
As I said, that doesn't mean we won't introduce support for up and coming hardware wallets -- D'Cent wallet looks very promising from what I've seen -- but we'd need to see demand for it and we'd need to ensure that it's compatible with all of the services offered in our wallet.
@nufi_admin Thank you for very detailed thoughtful response!
I will happily transition from Adalite to Nifi once it gets mire widely used for dapps
Thank you!

Great! The good news is that you don't have long to wait ... NuFi's Chrome extension + dApp connector will be released in the coming weeks, and with this you'll be able to use your NuFi wallet to connect to dApps in all corners of the Cardano ecosystem. Be sure to follow our Discord announcements for updates on this (https://discord.gg/nufi).
Thank you again for your feedback and support 🙏
@nufi_admin This is awesome news, if that is the case I will co sider ditching Nami!...lol
